About Me
As a forever pet lover with over 20 years of experience in the pet care industry, my priority is the needs and comfort of your family members.
I started out in the medical field as a Veterinary Technician for 5 years, and then moved on to pet sitting part time. After having children, staying home with them and then eventually sending them off to school full time, I decided that I wanted to get back to doing what I love.
I more recently shifted my attention to the personal needs of your pet. At the beginning of Covid, it began to find difficult getting pets in to places for their everyday needs. I began to also realize that there was a high demand for in home visits. Many people have difficulty getting their pets in for these basic services, for whatever reason it may be. I thought how great, that I could provide these services, without the clients having to go anywhere.
My goal is to provide these services at an affordable rate and make things as convenient as possible.
I do run our families electrical contracting business out of our home, which does take up some of my time. I try to provide these services during the day when my children are at school.
Unfortunately, demand is not high enough to justify purchasing a mobile vehicle and all that goes along with that. Therefore, my services are provided in or outside of your home, dependent on weather and the services being provided. I provide all that is needed with the exception of a water source/tub, if needed.

Service is provided using your tub/hose-(if warm enough) Price depends on size of dog, temperament, coat and length. All baths include a brush, wash, brush, rinse and towel dry. (Blow Dry can be added for an extra charge)

De-shed involves brushes over and over with a furminator brush and/or slicker brush, until no longer tolerated or until I feel the skin has had enough brushing.
Bathing/drying will help with the de-shed process as well.

Unfortunately, full grooming is not something that I provide at this time. I am not confident enough in my skills, nor have I been educated in all that is required/necessary when providing full grooming services.
I am willing to give any animal a try. I am unable to guarantee a positive result, but I will take my time and work with your pet at their and your comfort level. I do not rush through to get these services done quicker. I take my time, go slow if needed, to make sure your pet is as comfortable as they can be in a stressful situation. Some clients provide sedatives beforehand. I also provide muzzles, if needed. If it becomes too much for your pet, I will only continue to the owner's comfort level. If I feel in danger, I may also then have to discontinue.
Some animals require a more hands on approach with multiple people assisting. I am a single individual, most of the time requiring help/distraction from the owner. In that case, it would probably be best to take your pet in where they can accommodate that. If needed, we can always break up the sessions and do-little bits at a time. Some animals may require a little bit more restraint (holding on their side, backed into a corner etc), but we will only do what everyone is comfortable with.
My pricing varies on the services provided, type of pet, demeanor, type of hair (if applies) etc. I have a list of services and starting price points that you can look to for a better idea. Please inquire for an exact cost.

Please contact me directly to set up an appointment. I typically try to schedule clients that are in the same area, for the same day and time frame. Sometimes I may not know my exact route until the day before or morning of. I will do my best to accommodate special requests.
